*one year wiser*

 mummy celebrated a year of becoming wiser and younger at heart today. the cake was from bon-bon's, but hmm...it had a hint of cinnamon and it was a bit wet for a carrot cashewnut cake, but it was still good for the celebration of course ;-) we still have 3/4ths of the cake waiting to be eaten in the fridge fabs and rach!

An Ode to Ian!

Life is..really how you live it...sometimes when you think about things that have happened, feelings that tickled your heart, the tears that you have shed and the good times you have enjoyed, life is in all...a learning curve, one way or another. And we should count our blessings everyday as we never know what may happen tomorrow.

Ian Ru Wei Chai...he was one of the little boys I happened to cross paths with for awhile in my lifetime. He started of as an obstinate, I-want-it-my-way kind of child, upsetting the kindest of hearts along the way. He used to throw tantrums, throw things at me and call me names. But somehow or other, I did not have the heart to turn my back on him. I persevered, saying "Hi" to him whenever I could despite cold glances, asking him nicely for a favour eventhough he says "No" and screams his little head off all the time. This cute little boy still drew me close ;-)

Slowly but surely, we started becoming friends. There was no more screaming, only shy, obliging "yes-es". Come to think of it, I caused him so much pain. Physically. Everytime I said "Hello" , it would be followed by a shy smile, and a quick, cute hand wave. Awww, those times brought me so much joy. Then, our relationship progressed to me being able to talk to him, even if it was for a short while, sitting at the edge of his bed;-) What an achievement really!

The last time  I saw Ian, he had a handsome tuft of hair on him! So overjoyed I was to see him, I was crying inside. And he came back looking for me with his mummy, giving me a note saying "I love you". I was touched beyond words, holding back my tears and merely requesting for a small favour. "Ian, can you give me a big hug and a kiss?" To which, my dear Ian obligingly nodded his head to. What a joy it was;-)

Now that he is somewhere out there living life to its fullest, I only pray that our Good Lord has his powerful almighty hands on dear Ian. I pray that, no matter where he is, what he is doing, how he is feeling.. all that he does will only be bestowed upon with blessings upon blessings, happiness and agape love. 

I will always remember Ian and how he touched my life... once upon a time..

Oh, did I mention? I used to prick him to get blood, how unkind ;-)

Time really does fly, 2 years are up and now its really time to say goodbye as we go our separate paths..well i suppose dat is part and parcel of life. we move on to different stages of life at different paces, but we hold on to the good memories of the times we have shared in the past and the relationships that we have nurtured and built along the years. Phew, its been a great 2 years of internship though..hahaha...and i wish all my friends, those dear to me and also the acquaintances alike, all the very best in the career path you have chosen and cherish life as you have never before;-) I will surely miss all of you dearly

pS: Fitz will be in malacca, han in perak, sim in johor, jia and i hopefully get to stay back in kl..fingers crossed babe!

introducing to our blog my hunky dory:mr loo tzeh ming!i think he is already quite well acquainted with the two of you ge,...so no big surprise;) dis is at the rooftop of the new hotel..sands resort...its known as sky gardan, really pretty wei, there was d infinity pool, and a tree or two paving the pathways haha...

i miss my hunky dory!;( even though i see him on average twice a week, i stil miss him soo much everyday, and everytime i get to see him and the day is coming to an end, i don wanna leave..he makes me soo happeee you know fabs and rach, i really love being around him..

i pray and hope dat no matter wat happens in future, be it thick or thin, whether it upsets the both of us or serenades us over the moon, whether it is trying our patience or strengthening the bond we share, we will still endure it together hand in hand, not ever ever giving up on each other. i will always love him, so very much, and i pray dat god has his way with us and dat he is the one for me. i have never been happier relationship wise and i am ever grateful to the lord for the way he works in our lives and in bringing us finally together. thank you lord god for your grace*
